Ellen shows us plenty

So perhaps it’s kind of uncool to forward what is really a video press release. Yet, I think this video chat gets across something that is very special about the Petersens band.

Haha, she obviously thinks she will be going to Britain and Holland in a few months when she is more than seven months pregnant. Maybe so... Or, maybe she’ll have to stay behind in her Branson, Missouri, home in the heart of America’s storied Ozarks region.

In the video, Ellen is fulfilling her role as the group’s marketing professional — and her very compelling personality comes across most excellently. You may be able to discern that underneath that crafted professional exterior is a sublimely interesting person.

Ellen points out that the acoustic band’s repertoire is brewed up from a wide spectrum of genres. Whenever you hear the Petersens perform a Rock, Pop, Country, Gospel or Bluegrass number, you can be sure they have worked their special magic and are serving you up something strikingingly fresh and interesting.

And undoubtedly she and her sisters are among the most beautiful in the Bluegrass world, and in the professional music world generally. Her brother Matt, the band’s business manager, is one of the best-looking guys in the business, which is one more reason for the group’s amazing influence.
