Alluring pop from the Petersens

These Grassers are good — even when the remarkable Julz is missing

Fans are waiting to see what Julianne Petersen does now that she has been graduated from college. How much time will she put into the Petersens band? What are her career aspirations?

The group -- consisting of four siblings, mother and friend -- hasn't posted much on Youtube for 2023. Julz has been much too busy with her mad dash to commencement, which was today.

Even so, the band -- sans Julianne -- has been keeping a brisk pace with its live concert work.

These Bluegrassers like to mix genres, and they are very effective at resurrecting old rock and pop numbers and giving them a special alluring quality.
